A new year means it’s time for some New Year's Resolutions and exercising more always makes the top ten list. Well, making exercise more of my everyday routine is one of my resolutions and I am determined to stick with it. For me, it’s all about starting slow and making realistic expectations and so far it’s worked! I’ve met my workout goal this first and second week of January so we’re off to a great start. GO ME. Alright, let's get into the post....
What Is ClassPass?
So with all of this discussion of exercise and living a healthier lifestyle I wanted to write a post about ClassPass, an app that gives you access to the best fitness studios in your area! I found out about ClassPass a little over a year ago and it’s been an amazing way for me to maintain my fitness. If you’re like me and you don’t feel 100% comfortable in the gym and prefer classes, you NEED ClassPass. You can go to barre, spin, HIIT, yoga, pilates, legit anywhere. My favorite thing to do is barre and Barre3 is the BEST studio (in my opinion).
The best part about ClassPass is the flexibility of it. There are a few different levels and the way it works is depending on how much you spend a month gives you a certain amount of credits. You can even roll over credits into the next month if you don’t use them all (the amount varies based on your membership). Most classes are anywhere between 4-6 credits but if the class is super full, it could be 8-10 credits. Here are the membership options:
- $10/month = 5 credits
- $29/month = 15 credits
- $49/month = 27 credits
- $79/month = 45 credits
Although this may not be for everyone, I have found that ClassPass really works for my schedule and the type of workouts I like to do. They even recently introduced ClassPass Live which are video workouts, so if you don’t like working out in front of other people at all, you can subscribe to the video classes instead.
One thing to know is if you continue to go to the same studio over and over again, the credit cost will increase so keep that in mind. The point is to try new studios and change up the workouts you do but I’m guilty of going back to the same place so if you’re like me, I wanted to give you a heads up!
