Since I typically wear a lot of neutral colors and simple outfits, it’s fun for me to find unique spring accessories that add a nicer touch to my look! With spring right around the corner, I’ve been slowly adding some pieces to my accessory collection so I wanted to share them with you all! I’ve been making some bold purchases lately and going out of my comfort zone but I really love doing that because I’m often surprised by what I like and what looks good on me.
I’ll also be starting a little ‘Spring Series’ so keep checking back for my next spring related post!
Let’s get into it!
Forget necklaces, it’s all about the necktie this spring and I am so here for it. If you’ve been on Instagram the past few months you’ve probably noticed this necktie trend taking off. It’s the perfect accessory for spring, you can wear it around your neck, put it in your hair, or even add it to your bag to add a little pop of color! I recently started my collection and purchased this yellow one from Madewell and this blue striped one from Target! I am currently obsessed with yellow and/or mustard so the one from Madewell is my absolute favorite. I typically wear a lot of neutral colors so this is the perfect pop of color I need to add a little bit more to my outfit!
Although I have my ears pierced and a double piercing, I rarely wear earrings but I’ve been trying out new things (i.e. neckties) so I’m trying to wear more jewelry this spring and tassel earrings are my new obsession. Last week I went to an opening for a boutique out in Mesa and I picked up some adorable black tassel earrings. Although I typically wear studs or small hoops, these earrings are super lightweight and don’t bug me at all when I wear them! Plus, they’re black so they always go with what I’m wearing. If you’re like me and not super into jewelry, but you want to experiment a bit, I recommend adding some tassel earrings to your collection. I’ve been eyeing these mustard ones from Madewell for a few weeks but who knows if I’ll actually buy them! Just like a necktie, they add a little bit of a pop to your outfit and even fancies ups what your wearing, depending on the kind you get! This is a growing trend so a ton of stores are adding them to their accessory section, so you’re bound to find a pair you like!
JORD Frankie Watch
A few months ago I made a huge purchase and got myself an Apple Watch! I’ve been obsessed with it ever since but sometimes when I’m going out to dinner or hanging out with friends, I like to exchange it for a nicer watch. Since I’m so tiny, most watches typically don’t fit my wrist and I always have to DIY an extra hole to make sure the watch doesn’t fall off my wrist! Luckily, I came across JORD and their amazing watches. When they reached out to me a few weeks ago I was super excited to be working with them because I had been eyeing their watches for awhile. What I loved most was that they sent you the watch based on your wrist size, so when it arrived, you were ready to wear it! They sent me the beautiful and minimal Frankie watch in ebony and gold! I’m obsessed with the sleek look and the face of the watch isn’t too big for my wrist, so that was a plus!
I wanted to add this to my list of unique spring accessories because JORD offers really unique looking watches for men and women! It would be the perfect gift for your boyfriend, husband, dad, brother or even your mom and friends. With Easter around the corner, you could pick them up a nice JORD watch and skip the candy this year lol.
I also wanted to let everyone know that I’m hosting a giveaway with JORD but it’s only live for a few more days! To enter, just head to this link and fill out the form! The winner will receive a $100 gift card to use towards any JORD watch but everyone who enters will receive a 10% coupon so basically it’s a win-win situation!
